Happy New Year!
Firstly, don’t let anyone tell you this is going to be a tough year.
Don’t let anyone plant those seeds in the garden of your mind. For that garden is where your year grows from.
The moment you think it is going to be a tough year you have set things in motion. So don’t do that.
I view each new year in the same way: A Year of Wonderful Possibilities!!
My new diary … 365 blank pages waiting for me to decide what to write upon them. 365 days of potential, possibilities. I always get so excited when I get a new diary.
This year, laid our at your feet … this new path … eager for you to step upon it … is your path to walk. It is your choices that build that path, it is your actions, your words, your very thoughts, that build that path. No one else’s
You cannot blame your path upon another if you refuse to take ownership of all that you are. Your actions, words and thoughts are your own. You chose them. If you do not like them, choose with more care and more wisdom.
Build your path with love, compassion, patience, tolerance, gentleness, hard work, exercise, and service. Seek no rewards, not even recognition. Do it all in quietness and do not seek praise, do not seek for others to notice, for if you seek praise and notice then that demand for praise and notice is your driving force, your motivation, and it will sour the path, for it will no longer be a path of love, compassion, patience, tolerance, gentleness, hard work, exercise, and service, it will be a path of selfishness. It is important that we seek nothing in return.
Your year before you, 2026, is built upon your 2025, which was built upon your 2024. And this year you are building the foundations upon which 2027 will stand. Make them good!
I heard someone say that 2026 was going to be tumultuous, and my only response was that ‘that is your choice of what you want for 2026’ but it is certainly not something I am choosing. Anyone who believes it is going to be tumultuous thereby creates a tumultuous year. They believe it, and they will get it, for that is how the universe works.
I choose peace. I choose calm. I choose quietness and sacredness. I choose to work hard, to be of service, to help, to smile, to encourage, to inspire. I choose abundance, and joy. I choose love and laughter.
I am excited for the opportunities that 2026 brings. I can already see a path with large fruits, gifts, abundance, and I feel a lightness in my step. I know who I am … and at the end of this year I will know that at an even deeper level.
Consciousness is creative. It is the wellspring of everything.
